Nuovi amori {e nuovi acquisti}

sono sempre in ritardo per quanto riguarda i fenomeni letterari (e commerciali) per ragazzi che diventano film di successo
in principio li snobbo, poi me ne innamoro perdutamente

mi è successo con Harry Potter, prima ho visto il film e poi ho iniziato a leggere i libri (tutti, e più di una volta...)

questa mia passione per quelli che si possono definire "romanzi per ragazzi" me la spiego così:

1) durante la mia ormai lontana adolescenza non esistevano romanzi per ragazzi così belli e coinvolgenti
2) sono una trentaquattrenne con il cervello di una tredicenne

3) ho un esagerato bisogno di evasione dalla routine quotidiana

so I explain my passion for these "teen novels":
1) during my adolescence were no books for teenagers so beautiful and engaging
 2) I'm thirty-four years old with the brain of a thirteen
3) I have an exaggerated need to escape from daily routine

ho visto il film uno di questi pomeriggi su Sky

e mi è piaciuto moltissimo

ieri mattina ho comprato il libro e l'ho finito di leggere un'ora fa

sono tornata diciassettenne per 24 ore 

I saw a movie on tv and I loved it
Yesterday morning I bought the book and I finished reading an hour ago
I returned a seventeen to 24 hours

nel film questa è la casa di Edward Cullen, il protagonista maschile...

devo dire che i vampiri hanno un ottimo gusto in fatto di case!

abbiamo messo in vendita la nostra casa

una casa che abito dal 2006

con le persone più speciali del mondo:

mio marito e mia figlia

my husband and my daughter

in un primo momento avevamo deciso di tenerla ed affittarla

ma poi la gelosia ha preso il sopravvento:

non sopportiamo il pensiero che la casa rimanga nostra

ma che venga abitata da qualcun'altro che non siamo noi

at first time we decided to keep the house and rent it

but the jealousy has taken over:

we do not endure that the house remains our

but that is inhabited by someone else who is not us

qui stiamo bene

(e spero altrettanto della nuova casa)

here we are well and happy

(and hopefully also the new home)

qui siamo diventati una famiglia

here we became a family

spero che chi la comprerà saprà amarla quanto l'amiamo noi

qui è dove andiamo al mare, a Castiglioncello

chi lo conosce sa che è per gli amanti dello scoglio

infatti le spiagge sono piccole e rare (e spesso artificiali!)

here is where me and my family go to sea, in Castiglioncello

who knows him knows it's for lovers of rock

because the beaches are small and rare (and often artificial!)

nella foto sopra potete vedere due dei più importanti edifici di Castiglioncello

a sinistra l'hotel "Miramare" e a destra il mio preferito, la "Villa Celestina" (ex "Kursaal")

in the photo above you can see two of the most important buildings of Castiglioncello

costruita nel 1915 e ristrutturata nel 1938 in stile razionalista italiano, il Kursaal divenne il fulcro della vita mondana di Castiglioncello in cui si svolgeva la vita sociale delle “famiglie bene” dell’epoca.

dopo varie peripezie e passaggi di proprietà adesso l'edificio è sede distaccata della Facoltà di Biologia Marina dell'Università di Pisa

built in 1915 and renovated in 1938 in the Italian Rationalist style, Kursaal became the center of social life to Castiglioncello.

after many vicissitudes and changes of ownership is now the building branch of the Faculty of Marine Biology, University of Pisa

mi piace il suo stile pulito, adoro le sue terrazze a picco sul mare

I like his clean style, I love its terraces overlooking the sea

 è molto piacevole venirci al mare

non è mai affollato, l'acqua è pulita e la compagnia gradevole
